Imagining Excellence
Learning at Lakeview
As an independent, college-preparatory school, Lakeview Academy is committed to excellence in the personal growth and academic development of all students, age three through 12th grade. Foreign language is taught in every grade and technology is integrated into each discipline. All students have a variety of elective opportunities from which to choose, including the school's award winning athletic, fine arts and innovation programs. While Lakeview's students are offered the opportunity to excel at a higher level, an academic support program is offered to students at all grade levels when extra help is needed.
Before Lakeview, our oldest son was just surviving high school. Now, he is thriving! He feels Lakeview is teaching him 'how to learn' and shows a renewed commitment towards preparing for college and the rest of his life! Our family has been so pleased with the transition; our youngest son has also made the switch to Lakeview." - Current Parent

Nurturing Curiosity
Lakeview’s preschool program nurtures curiosity through hands-on learning, research-based curricula, and a wide variety of enrichment classes that allow our youngest students to discover, learn, and grow. Science, literature, and math are woven into our play-based program, which also includes enrichment classes in character education, Spanish, art, music, library, and physical education.

Lower School: Grades 1-5
Building a Foundation
Lakeview’s Lower School, grades first through fifth, combines a hands-on curriculum and a student’s natural curiosity about the world around them makes learning both academic and fun. As students advance from first grade to fifth, they increasingly develop strong work habits and personal responsibility.

Middle School: Grades 6-8
Magic in the Middle
Lakeview’s Middle School, grades sixth through eighth, is a magical place, not a holding pattern until high school. Our faculty is part of the magic because of years of experience teaching middle school where academic accomplishments are gained through creative assignments combined with the right amount of rigor.

Upper School: Grades 9-12
Preparing to Soar
Lakeview’s rigorous upper school curriculum includes seventeen advanced placement courses and nine honors courses divided among all content areas. The results are students who are prepared academically for college and beyond as well as possess intrinsic skills of self-advocacy and time management.
