The senior class of 39 students will represent Lakeview Academy across seven states and Scotland at 18 different colleges and universities. Collectively, the class submitted 253 applications to 100 schools and earned admission to 73 colleges and universities in 20 states and three countries outside of the United States.
Sixty-four percent of the class will remain in Georgia, attending nine different colleges and universities, while 14 students will pursue opportunities at eight schools across six states and Scotland. Excluding HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships, the Class of 2026 earned an impressive $3,489,988 in merit scholarships.
Beyond their academic accomplishments, the Class of 2026 includes state champions in basketball, literary, and one-act play; a National Merit Finalist and Scholar; two collegiate athletes; and region players of the year in football and soccer. Together, they leave a legacy of excellence, leadership, and school pride.
