Dyslexia Support

Lakeview's Keystone Dyslexia Support Program represents the highest level of support offered for Lakeview's Lower School Students. The Keystone Dyslexia Program offers a unique learning opportunity for students with mild language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia, to receive specialized instruction tailored to their specific learning needs.
As a school, we believe an essential part of our students’ long-term educational success is thoughtful consideration of their future academic journey. The goal of The Keystone Dyslexia Support Program is to provide our students with the tools they need to be successful both now and in the years to come.

A Commitment to Partnership
A keystone is the final and apex element placed in an archway, uniting and magnifying the strength of the individual components in the structure. In much the same way, The Keystone Program at Lakeview Academy represents the coming together of persons and their gifts with the singular goal of more effectively supporting the learning needs of today’s students.
When families entrust Lakeview with the education of their children, we commit to working in partnership to love, support, and cultivate the growth of each child.

Classroom Design
All Keystone classrooms are designed with our students in mind. From the furniture to sound mitigation to paint colors, all decisions were made in consultation with an occupational therapist to maximize the learning environment for our students.
Auditory and visual inputs are managed through a minimalist approach and lighting is softened. Movement opportunities through flexible seating and engagement are provided to students throughout their day.
