Yes! We offer need-based tuition assistance as well as flexible payment options.  Approximately 25% of our families receive tuition assistance. As a school, we aim to make the Lakeview experience attainable for as many families as possible. Yes! Our on-site Extended Learning program is available to preschool through 5th grade students from 2:15 p.m. (or whenever their school day ends) until 5:30 p.m. Our program consistently receives the highest score from the state regulatory agency. The rate for this service is $8/hour; $13/hour for drop-ins.

Yes, there is a uniform dress code in all grades. Details can be found on our Dress Code web page.

Yes, there are two bus routes with designated stops where students gather to meet the bus. One route travels to Buford, Flowery Branch and Oakwood, and another to Braselton/Chateau Elan and Chestnut Mountain.

Many opportunities are available for Lakeview parents to volunteer. These include the Lakeview Parents Association (LPA), the Fine Arts Booster Club (FAB), the Lakeview Athletic Club, and various in-class and other school activities all welcome parental involvement. Classes for all divisions begin at 8:20 a.m. We encourage students to arrive a few minutes early in order to be prepared to start the day. End times are as follows:

• PreK 3 and PreK 4 will dismiss at 2:15 pm.
• Kindergarten - 2nd grades will dismiss at 3:00 pm.
• 3rd - 5th grades will be dismissed at 3:20 pm.
• 3rd grade offers approximately 15-20 minutes of homework time in the classroom each afternoon.
• 6th through 12th grades will be dismissed at 3:25 pm. 

Lakeview Academy accepts applications year round. We send out acceptance letters for the following school year beginning in early March, but we encourage you to begin the application process as early as possible for the following academic year to secure your space in the class.

New families must apply within two weeks of receiving acceptance of admission to Lakeview Academy.

We offer need-based tuition assistance for 1st through 12th grade only. We offer a monthly payment plan. option for all grades. The Georgia Promise Scholarship applies to students entering kindergarten and more details can be found on our Tuition Assistance and Financial Aid page.

No. Tuition assistance is provided in the form of grants, not loans, which do not require repayment.
