Tradition of Excellence - Lakeview Alumni

Lakeview Academy is dedicated to keeping our alumni and friends connected with one another. We hope that this site will be helpful to you in your efforts to keep in touch with former classmates and that you will explore our site to learn about upcoming events, alumni news, and ways that you can support Lakeview Academy.


Lakeview Academy and the Alumni Association sponsor many events throughout the year that all alumni are encouraged to attend. Also, stay in touch through our Lakeview Academy Alumni Facebook page and Linkedin page. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you around the campus!

Alumni Spotlight, Lakeview Growing the Future

Celia Wilson-Patino '22
Celia Wilson-Patino '22

Celia Wilson-Patino '22 enrolled in the Masters of Public Health graduate program at the University of Georgia College of Public Health following her graduation from Georgia Tech in 2023. She received a teaching assistantship and the College's "Public Health Outreach Support Fund Award" for her work addressing health disparities within Georgia. She graduated with distinction with her Master of Public Health in May 2026. She was one of only eight students inducted into the Delta Omega National Honorary Society in Public Health and earned membership in Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines for being in the 10% of graduate students across the entire University. She will start at the Mercer University School of Medicine in the fall as part of its MD class of 2030.

Nicholas Mulka '16

Nicholas Mulka '16 was honored by his Alma Mater, the Georgia Institute of Technology (BSME '20, MSME '22), at the 2026 Alumni Awards. The awards celebrated engineers for distinguished service, giving back, and making an impact on campus and their communities. Mulka, along with fellow Tech alum and Founder Curtis Lary, received the Dean's Impact Award for their work at Hextronics, a company that deploys fully automated drone-in-a-box systems, enabling remote and autonomous drone operations. Along with fellow Lakeview Academy graduate Corey Matyas and a team of ambitious engineers, they create solutions for industrial inspection, security monitoring, and first responders.

Benjamin Walton - Quigley '14

Benjamin Walton - Quigley '14 is based in New York City, where he lives with wife, Eranthis, and works as a musical theatre writer, comoser, teaching artist, and arts administrator. He is working on an original musical, tame the noise, which was recently selected for development opportunities with MilkyWay New Works Festival and Table Read Co. He is also porducing the first Sandbox Musicals Playspace Cabaret at The Green Room 42, featuring songs from twelve new musicals developed through a workshop series he founded.

Avery Jackson '16

Avery Jackson '16 is a graduate of the College of Charleston and has been pursuing his passion of weightlifting. He has several national records and is currently the 4th strongest male in his division in the world. This summer he represented Team USA in Chemnitz, Germany where he competed against the best weightlifters from each country and brought home a silver medal.

Jackson Pratt '17

Jackson Pratt '17 is currently completing his MFA at Rose Bruford International Drama School in London, England. He recently wrote, produced, and performed a show that was selected for Symposium entitled, Truth Warrior Network.....Live! The production was selected for a limited run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

James Michael Harrison '21

James Michael Harrison '21 graduated Cum Laude, in May 2025, with dual degrees in finance and management, a minor in data analytics, and an Honors Program Certificate, from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. He served as the Executive Officer of Delta Company during his senior year, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the unit. Upon graduation James Michael commissioned as an officer into the United States Marine Corps.
