Making Memories

Learning Outside of the Classrom

Trip Week is a Lakeview tradition for grades 6-12 that combines travel and learning opportunities with bonding time between students and faculty chaperones.  Depending on the grade, trips vary from two to five days and locations can be as close as camping in Northeast Georgia to a bus trip to Washington, D.C.  All trips are planned by grade-level teachers to meet curricular objectives and are chaperoned by Lakeview faculty and staff.  Because trips serve a specific learning purpose, they are not optional and there is a fee associated with each grade’s trip.
